Museum of Art and Design

Located in Columbus, Indiana, this museum diverts its program away from the traditional style museum. The galleries are united through the workshop and classroom which provide a space for artists from a variety of trades to work and learn. The galleries are the spaces in which the work completed at the museum can be put on display.

The Indiana Hardwood and Lumberman's Association Design Studio Competition challenged students to design a museum while strategically integrating lumber as a primary construction resource. My design received an Honorable Mention placing it in the top 20 out of 70 competitors.
